Cleveland Browns Standout Luke Floriea Secures Major NFL Tryout

Every August in the NFL, fans find a local underdog to fall in love with during training camp. For Cleveland, that player was wide receiver Luke Floriea. The mentor, who was also born in Ohio and a Kent State graduate, was a preseason favourite, catching three touchdown passes. However, Floriea kept getting the ball and getting to the hoop, but he never got a shot in the hand. When final roster cuts arrived, the Browns let him walk, choosing not to bring him onto their practice squad. Floriea is just days removed from waiving rights and has now garnered a big-boy NFL tryout with the Seahawks, where he has one more chance at proving his worth on a professional field.
