England international Anna Moorhouse has joined the Women’s Super League champions on loan from Orlando Pride until January. The 31-year-old is making her English football debut in over four years in the NWSL at a crucial time in the season.

Moorhouse established an enviable reputation in the United States. Her standout 2024 campaign with Orlando Pride included a record 13 clean sheets as the side claimed both the NWSL Shield and Championship. This led to international success, a pair of England caps and a spot in the Lionesses squad that won Euro 2025. Born in Oldham, she has had experience of the WSL after stints at Arsenal and West Ham.
It is a good time for City. The loss of another keeper saw the club seeking depth after primary goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita was confirmed.
