Raphinha has had a sensational first half of the season and has joined the ranks of Barcelona’s most important youngsters under Hansi Flick. The Brazilian is now a striker, and he’s delivered previously stunning displays in front of goal.
Barcelona will no doubt want to lock him in for the long haul thanks to his newfound style. It is also reported that Raphinha is willing to extend the contract, as one thing has to be concluded before the extension.
As a result, AS says that Raphinha is not represented anymore, which is probably why he is seeking a new agent. He signed for Barcelona as an agent of Deco who was appointed Barcelona’s sporting director and later dropped him. The switch was made owing to the potential conflict of interest arising out of his new role.
Without an official Raphinha has continued since then. The Barcelona captain is currently looking to finalize a new contract, with negotiations in their final stages, and he’s having to pick a trusted agent to do the details on his behalf.

His new USA team should be announced in the next few days. After this meeting, both Barcelona and the player are eager to finalise the deal and it is believed a renewal is going to be completed at a swift pace.
In fact, there’s been a solid sign that an agree is imminent. During an earlier media conference this week Deco has chosen to comment on Raphinha’s future and confirmed that the discussions had taken a significant step.
“It has been progressing since yesterday. We have agreed that he will be staying until 2030,” Deco replied and outlined the proposed length of the contract.
The sporting director has admitted the deal has been agreed just the formalities are left to be finalised. The new deal that is on the table for Raphinha might therefore stir into the mix that could make the renewal happen.
